In light of the famous No. 18 Document, “Some policies to encourage the development of software and IC industries” issued by State Council in 2000, Ministry of Information Industry (MII) announced the first national IC design corporations on 1st Feb.2005.

86 companies are recognized as IC Design Company by MII this time, amongst which there are four Zhejiang companies. The recognition of NationalChip by State authorities as one of the first national IC design companies indicates Guoxin’s technology strength, and will definitely have positive effect on enjoying privileged policies provided by government bodies.
