On 9th December, 2005, the 5th releasing conference of important technical invention in the information industry was held by the Information Industry Ministry, on which the project “DVB-S/DVB-C receiver IC” of Hangzhou NationalChip Science& Technology Co., Ltd. was honored. Mr. Lou Qinjian, deputy secretary of the Information Industry Ministry, other senior officials, experts and the selected company delegates attended the conference. Mr. Zhang Ming, vice president of Guoxin attended the meeting on behalf of Guoxin.

Mr. Lou made an important speech on the conference, in which he emphasized that the government would increase the support to key techniques and their industrialization and make great efforts to improve the core techniques of IC, software and key components. He also indicated that the former important technical invention projects not only drove innovations in the relative fields, but also attracted recognitions from every social resource, which made great effect on the development of industrial techniques.

NationalChip DVB-S receiver IC (GX1101) and DVB-C receiver IC (GX1001) have the best performance on satellite channel blind-scan and anti-network echo in the industry, which have formed the chip system solution of DVB-C and DVB-S receivers and been widely used by several important manufacturers. This project also changes the situation of key chips’ importation in China and has great significance to the digital TV industrialization process in China.

Totally eight companies were honored on this conference, and this honor showed Guoxin’s strong power of technical research and industrialization.
