On 6 February, 2001, the Administration Commission of Zhejiang University Technology Park (it’s part of Hangzhou Hi-tech Development Park) approved NationalChip’s application to register Hangzhou NationalChip Science & Technology Co., Ltd. 

NationalChip got its legal birth certificate on this very day and thus took its first step in digital TV industry.
